Hydroponic drip systems

If you are beginning your first adventure with hydroponic gardening, consider using hydroponic drip systems. Because they can be controlled with a timer, operation is simple. The timer turns on a submersed pomp and a nutrient solution trips onto the base of plants.

There are two types of hydroponic trip systems: recovery and nonrecovery. A recovery drip system picks up the excess nutrient solution that runs off and collects it in the reservoir so it can be used again. The recovery system uses nutrient solution more efficiently since excess solution is reused.

Nonrecovery hydroponic drip systems do not collect nutrient runoff. However, nonrecovery systems require less maintenance because the excess solution isn't recycled and the nutrient strength of the reservoir while not vary. You can fill the reservoir would nutrient solution and then not worry about it until more is required.
